God writes the best stories. Sometimes, the wait feels long, and the road winds in unexpected directions, but every step prepares us for the next. For us, our love story is a testament to God’s faithfulness, His perfect timing, and His infinite goodness.

It all began on a crisp fall day in Aspen, Colorado. Cameron, a Snowmass native with a love for the outdoors, skiing, golfing, biking, hunting, and Clemson football, had spent his life exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Rockies.

After years of embracing life in Gilbert, Arizona, Sabrina felt a pull toward something new—a life filled with adventure, growth, and a deeper trust in God’s plans. On September 15, 2023, she took a leap of faith, packed up her life, and moved to the mountains of Colorado. Leaving behind the familiar and stepping into the unknown, Sabrina found a place that offered everything she loved: snowboarding, hiking, and the chance to pour into others as a nanny in a place that offers all of that. What she didn’t know was that this move wasn’t just about new scenery; it was about stepping into the next chapter of God’s story for her life.

Two days after her move, Sabrina’s first Colorado friend, Maidy (a.k.a. ' Maidy the matchmaker”), introduced her to Cameron at church. Cameron was leading the young adults group at Crossroads Church in Aspen. From the very beginning, the two connected through a weekly Bible study and intentional conversations. Their friendship blossomed naturally, and on October 20, 2023, they went on their first date at the historic J Bar at the Jerome Hotel. Fast forward to Christmas Eve 2024. This was Sabrina’s first Christmas spent away from her family in Arizona and Oregon, but it would turn out to be her first Christmas with her future family. Cameron asked Sabrina to officially be his girlfriend on Christmas Eve, and the holiday season took on a whole new meaning. The following summer, what Sabrina didn’t know was that Cameron had begun preparing for the next step in their story. In true Cameron fashion, he went above and beyond. He secretly reached out to Sabrina’s family, taking the time to get to know them, seek their blessing, and even design the engagement ring with Sabrina’s brother-in-law, Reuben Livingston, a talented jeweler.

Nearly a year after they started dating, on October 13, 2024, Cameron planned the perfect proposal. After attending church together, Cameron whisked Sabrina away to a secluded spot in the mountains, overlooking the majestic Capitol Peak. He set up a picnic filled with Sabrina’s favorite foods and then led her down the “Hells Roaring” trailhead—fittingly named because we’re pretty sure hell itself was roaring at what God had brought together ;)

As they reached a stunning overlook, Cameron got down on one knee and asked Sabrina to marry him. She said yes, of course, and just when she thought the surprises were over, Cameron revealed that his parents had driven up to celebrate with them. But the biggest surprise of all? Cameron arranged Sabrina’s parents to fly in from Arizona to join the celebration. It was a moment filled with love, joy, and God’s overwhelming kindness. Over the course of their relationship, Cameron and Sabrina have shared countless adventures—hiking Sabrina’s first 14er, camping, rafting, hunting, snowboarding, paddle boarding, and traveling. In September, they went on their first big trip together to South Africa, where they explored Stellenbosch, Cape Town, and even went on a safari. Each adventure has brought them closer together, and each step has been a reminder of God’s faithfulness.

Singleness was a season of both joy and challenge for both of them, but it was also a season of preparation. They learned to find contentment and gratitude in the gifts God had given them, even when the waiting was tough. And then, when the time was right, God gave them the incredible gift of each other.

Now, as they prepare to step into the next chapter of their story, they are filled with gratitude and awe. They’ve seen God’s hand in every detail—His creativity, kindness, and love—and above all, they’ve been reminded that He is good.

Cameron and Sabrina are so excited to celebrate their wedding with family and friends, to honor the God who brought them together, and to begin this new adventure as husband and wife. Thank you for being part of their story. It wouldn’t be the same without you.
