Where did the bride grow up?
Sabrina’s journey has been anything but boring—except, of course, for the time she grew up in the foothills of Mt. Hood in a small town literally named Boring, Oregon. Yes, Boring is a real place, and no, the irony isn’t lost on her!
Her adventurous spirit showed early, as she spent her sophomore year in Lübeck, Germany, an exchange program that doubled as a family reunion since some of her relatives live there. Returning stateside, Sabrina and her family decided to explore the South, settling briefly in Peach Tree City, Georgia. Turns out, the Southern humidity wasn’t quite their thing, so they packed up and moved west to Gilbert, Arizona. That’s where Sabrina finished high school and stayed from 2007 until 2023.
And then, God’s plan unfolded. Sabrina moved to Aspen, Colorado, in 2023, where—spoiler alert—she met her fiancé on her very first weekend in town. The rest, as they say, is history (and you’re here to celebrate it)!
Where did the groom grow up?
Cameron grew up in the mountains of Snowmass, Colorado, and has always been proud to call them home. After high school, he moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona, proving his academic focus before transferring to Clemson University in South Carolina. Upon graduating from Clemson, Cameron returned to Colorado and worked a season at Snowmass Sports, the family’s ski business.
As his last summer as a college student, he spent a few exciting months in New York City, interning at a record label, before heading abroad to live in Bariloche and Buenos Aires, Argentina, for six months. Back in Colorado, he earned his real estate license during the market crash, then briefly lived in Chicago for six months.
Cameron also pursued his passion for faith and learning at Dallas Theological Seminary, earning a master’s degree. He has since settled full-time in Aspen Snowmass, embracing the incredible outdoor activities and vibrant mountain culture of the Colorado Rockies—a place he’s proud to call home.
If the bride and groom could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Cameron is on an incredible mission to visit every Spanish-speaking country in the world. With 13 out of 20 already explored, he’s looking forward to adding the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Venezuela, and Paraguay to his list. The adventure continues with Sabrina by his side!
Sabrina dreams of exploring so many incredible destinations. It’s hard to choose just one! Austria, Norway, and New Zealand are at the top of her list for their breathtaking beauty. She and Cameron share a mutual love for travel and are excited to keep exploring the world together, knowing the journey will be just as amazing as the destinations they visit.
What are the bride and grooms favorite thing to do together?
Cameron and Sabrina truly enjoy sharing their faith and spending time outdoors, with hiking being one of their favorite activities together.
What are the bride and groom most excited about for their wedding day?
On our wedding day, we’re most excited about being surrounded by our closest friends and loved ones. Sharing this special moment with the people who have shaped our lives means everything to us. It’s not just a celebration of our love but of all the connections and support that have brought us to this day. We can’t wait to spend it with all of you!
Will the bride be changing her last name?
Yes! After the big day, Sabrina will be trading in Miss Van Hoff for Mrs. Wenzel! She will be taking Cameron’s last name and is excited for this new chapter as Mr. & Mrs. Wenzel!
